As a Sr. Field Service Technician - HVAC Automation here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers in the HVAC automation industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the performance and reliability of HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of our business. Key Responsibilities
•Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
•Perform repair work on demand
•Provide internal and external customer support
•Adhere to administrative processes
•Ability to work non-standard hours.
•Ability to service clientele in the greater Chicago area.
The annual base salary range for this position is $59,500 - $89,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
YOU MUST HAVE
• High School Diploma/ GED.
• 3+ years of field service experience with commercial building automation systems.
• 1+ years of programming experience.
• 3+ years of experience reading & interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license.
WE VALUE
• Tridium, Niagara, N4 certification preferred
• IT networking and operating systems experience
• MS Office experience
• Knowledge of commercial building infrastructure
• Previous field service technician experience
• Good written and oral communication
• Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
• Associate/ Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional certificate
