Key Responsibilities
Contract support of the Defense & Space OEM customers.
All facets of contract formation and contract management including drafting, interpretation, negotiation, contract review, and administration of complex customer agreements.
Providing independent and objective contract evaluation as well as experienced advice and sound guidance to various functions, as applicable
Advising internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and providing interpretation of terms and conditions.
Focusing on the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance.
Using six sigma / lean methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and improve responsiveness.
Collaborating with various teams and functions at multiple sites, ensuring organizational effectiveness and standardization.
Supporting the maximization of cost targets and cash flow while minimizing risk in the negotiation of contracts.
Contributing to the development of strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in commercial or government contracting or advanced graduate degree with three plus years of experience in commercial or government contracting
Due to certain U.S. Government Contracting restrictions, U.S. Citizenship required.

Advanced ability to analyze, draft, and negotiate complex agreements
Ability to research and analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions
Government contracting experience including FAR / DFAR knowledge desirable.
Ability to anticipate common patterns of negotiation and advise customers on basic strategic planning to manage or respond to them
Strong problem solving, contractual negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong working knowledge of customer contract administration including legal, procurement, accounting requirements, and international contracting laws desirable
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, leadership and initiative with results in dynamic environments
Six Sigma Greenbelt certification desirable
Drive efficiencies and process improvements.
Strong organization and project management skills.
