Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, build, and implementation of the global Onboarding Program for the customer-facing teams at West.
    • Develop a strong partnership with the commercial community through listening and alignment of priorities resulting in the execution of the Onboarding Program vision, strategies, and goals.
    • Sustain and continue the growth and evolution of the Onboarding Program in step with the strategic business goals of West.
    • Provide operational expertise for all aspects of onboarding including appropriate establishment and documentation of individual onboarding plans, monitoring completion of curriculums and course assignments, delivery of meaningful enhancements and improvements, and reporting progress and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Provide input and support for the creation, refresh, and life cycle management of effective training content for both the Onboarding and Capabilities Training programs.
    • Establish quantitative measures and feedback mechanisms to demonstrate effectiveness and business impact of training investments to guide continuous improvement.
  • Support the development, build and implementation of the global Capabilities Training Program for the customer-facing teams at West.
    • Develop a strong partnership with the commercial community and SME through listening and alignment of training priorities resulting in the execution of the Capabilities Training Program vision, strategies, and goals.
    • Identify gaps in training and make recommendations for build of additional courses, seek out areas of improvement including topics, content, and delivery.
    • Ensure training best practices are implemented for all training being delivered to customer-facing teams.
    • Provide input and support for the creation, refresh, and life cycle management of effective training content for both the Onboarding and Capabilities Training programs.
    • Establish quantitative measures and feedback mechanisms to demonstrate effectiveness and business impact of training investments to guide continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and use of the Learning Management System in alignment with the Onboarding and Capabilities Training Programs for the customer-facing teams at West.
    • Develop a strong partnership with the Learning & Development team in HR and with Digital & Technology (D&T) in pursuit of executing the Onboarding and Capabilities Training Programs
    • Lead collaboration with Learning & Development (HR) and Digital and Technology (D&T) to prioritize, develop, and operationalize courses and curriculums using LMS and West Digital as platform delivery vehicle.
    • Work with D&T to develop dashboards for tracking onboarding and training progress and trends at individual, regional, and global functional team levels.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business in Marketing, Finance, Science, Technical or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, in a sales, marketing, and/or training role, in a B2B environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Global commercial experience in a matrix organization, preferably in a multi-national manufacturing organization
  • Project team lead experience
  • 5+ years of experience in training and enablement initiatives, including implementation of onboarding and training programs
  • Driven and accountable self-starter, with ability to identify and communicate priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced industry at a rapidly growing organization.
  • Thorough research, problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and present information and solutions in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner to all levels of management and staff.
  • Able to maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time, including internationally
