Description
This is a highly multi-functional product development role, and you will work closely with various teams, like Silicon Design, Camera Hardware, QA, and the Media Frameworks team. The environment is dynamic and requires a self-starter demeanor. In this role, you will:Develop new kernel and user-land drivers and camera technologies for future products from prototyping phases, through to mass production, while maintaining existing iOS/MacOS drivers.Develop APIs for camera apps, be involved in ISP feature specifications, pre-silicon validation, silicon bring-up, and tools creation. Work on HW validation, and provide software support to factory testing. You will also implement features to support hardware testing and diagnosis.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++
  • Related driver development experience on Mac OS X, Windows, or Linux
  • Excellent debugging, and problem solving skills
  • Good written and oral interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hardware/software co-simulation, and pre-silicon validation
  • Knowledge of modern digital camera technologies, image sensors, and ISP pipelines
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.82 and $84.09/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
