U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Quantitative Model Analyst, Assistant VP (multiple positions) in Hopkins, MN.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs).
  • Support initiatives in mortgage servicing valuation, particularly on P&L attribution analysis.
  • Conduct model/assumption development, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Monitor performance of current delinquency models, short-term and long-term default probability models.
  • Convert all existing VBA script into Python script.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master's degree in economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience as a Financial Quantitative Analyst or in a related occupation.


Position also requires experience with market impact analysis and 2 years of experience with each of the following: C#, Discounted Cashflow models, JAVA, Matlab, mortgage servicing analytics, Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs), NPV models, Python, R, SAS, SQL, SQL Server, VBA, and VBA models.
