Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Associate-Consultant with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Software Strategy Group, you will be responsible for leading workstreams and engagements, directly translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. You will manage problem-solving and be the power behind the team’s analytical activities, serving as the key liaison between the engagement team, senior leaders, and our clients.
Skills and attributes for success
- Develop business strategies using tools such as financial analysis, customer research, forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
- Analyze transaction rationale and prospective deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.
- Manage workstreams and break down complex problems into manageable tasks for the team to contribute to solving together as a group.
- Motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Develop, manage, and mentor junior team members.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
- Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
- Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Other requirements
- Our SSG team members are in the office ~3 days a week.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- MBA or related graduate degree with at least 18 months of post-graduate-school related work experience in a consulting firm, preferably with technology-oriented clients, or experience in a software or technology company in a product or R&D-focused role.
- Expertise in one or more software sectors (ERP, CRM, Digital Media, Mobile, etc.).
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

What we offer you
- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $185,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
