We are looking for a skilled
CNC Programmerto join our team and play a key role in the precision manufacturing of high-quality products. In this position, you will be responsible for creating machine programs, designing fixtures and jigs, and developing tooling packages to produce required product features. Using a range of solid models and CAM software, you'll generate NC machine code, setup drawings, tool lists, and other essential documentation to guide machinists through the process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various drawing formats, dimensioning styles, and GD&T applications, ensuring accurate interpretation of customer requirements. Additionally, this role may involve hands-on machining, particularly for complex or high-precision parts. What you will be doing:

  • Ability to import and save job data to CNC folders using defined traceability methodologies
  • Program geometry supplied by customers to run on CNC machines
  • Read, interpret, and edit NC code
  • Clearly communicate and document instructions to the shop staff
  • Design and build fixtures and jigs
  • Review programming and set up machine for job requirements
  • Calculate speeds and feeds for multiple materials
  • Select tooling for specific situations
  • Machine parts to print and other requirements using manual and CNC mills and lathes, saws, and surface grinders
  • Monitor machine during operation for proper results
  • Review Work Order and Work Instructions to understand the job
  • Read and understand technical drawings with GD&T specifications
  • Clean, inspect, and measure finished parts and compare to Work Order and Work Instructions
  • Work in compliance with all Quality Management Systems
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Attend all required company training
  • Provide CNC quoting estimates to fulfillment services
  • Support and lead area focused continuous process improvement activities
  • Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

Must have for this role:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Full understanding of CNC machines and machining practices
  • Ability to program all types of CNC machines, including live tool multi-axis lathes and 5-axis machining centers
  • Excellent communication and math skills, and proficiency in computer operation
  • Full competency using MasterCam software for lathe and mill
  • Able to read and understand Work Processes and Work Instructions
  • 5 or more years’ experience operating and programming CNC machines
  • High level of competency in technical drawing interpretation and GD&T application

Nice to have:

  • 10 years of CNC machine operation
  • 5 years of CNC programming
