Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization

This position is to be the ESS subject matter expert for the following Air Programs: Protection of Stratospheric Ozone, Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting, and the Phasedown of Hydrocarbons (American Innovation and Manufacturing Act). With the ESS HSE team, the Regulatory Compliance Leader is responsible for evaluating and implementing new aspects, legal and other requirements as well communicating key information for governance and compliance.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represents, coordinates and advocates ESS interests in appropriate regulatory compliance activities.
  • Monitors regulatory changes for potential impact to ESS business interests. Provides feedback on federal policy, such as Title V Permitting, Ozone Depleting Substance, Greenhouse Gases, and AIM (American Innovation and Manufacturing) developments as necessary.
  • Provides technical guidance/oversight and assures consistency of effective regulatory compliance management systems programs and performance improvement.
  • Leads the compliance reporting processes within ESS to ensure timely and accurate reporting of required compliance data to governmental entities and trade associations.
  • Develops and maintains an effective management operating system (MOS) for ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance activities.
  • Coordinates the data collection activities for the ODS reporting obligations and compiles the quarterly reports for submission.
  • Coordinates the data collection activities for the annual corporate level Green House Gas reporting obligations and compiles the report for submission.
  • Acts as company liaison between EPA and Honeywell for all matters pertaining to the ODS, AIM and GG programs.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, chemistry or related science discipline required.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in Environmental regulations, with an emphasis in air regulation compliance.
  • Multi-site experience in environmental programs is required.
  • Experience in regulatory engagement activities with State and/or Federal Implementation Agencies is required.
  • Experience with relevant permits/approvals (CAA Part 70, NPDES, CWA 404).
  • Understanding of AIM (American Innovation and Manufacturing) Act, GHG (Green House Gas ) and ODS (Ozone Depleting Substance) regulations.
