Key job responsibilities
You will build, own, and operate foundational AWS services in the critical path of billions of API requests per-day. You'll need to be able to design and build extremely scalable services, capable of single digit millisecond latency. You'll release functionality used by every AWS service and their customers.A day in the life
You’ll contribute to the resource property store allowing customers to authorize who can do what, organize their resources, and provide crisp usage and auditing reports across the billions of resources customers depend on. You'll solve problems at a scale that have never been tackled before.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
