As a Director, M&A Tax here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role inour global tax team, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring our taxcompliance aligns with our mission. In this role, you will be accountable for guidingand managing the M&A tax function and strategy, ensuring compliance withtax laws and regulations, and optimizing the company's tax position in relationto mergers and acquisitions. You will report directly to our Sr Director, Tax and youwill work out of our Charlotte location on a Hybrid workschedule. In this role, you will impact the company's financial success by providingexpert tax advice and guidance on M&A transactions. You will work closelywith cross-functional teams to identify tax risks and opportunities, developtax-efficient structures, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. Yourexpertise in M&A tax will be crucial in navigating the complexities of taximplications in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and manage the M&A taxfunction, including tax planning, due diligence, structuring, and integration.
- Provide tax advice and guidance onM&A transactions, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams toidentify tax risks and opportunities in M&A deals.
- Develop tax-efficient structures andstrategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Manage relationships with externaltax advisors, government tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 8 years of experience intax.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws andregulations related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in managing tax complianceand reporting for M&A transactions.
- Excellent thoughtful andproblem-solving skills.
- Strong guiding and team managementskills.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, Juris Doctor or a related field. Master's degree in Taxation (preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
