JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Assembly & Test Technician Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for performing assembly and testing tasks on complex electronic and mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful assembly and testing of our products

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered to our customers on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weekend shift 6:00am-6:00pm Friday-Sunday

• Perform assembly and testing tasks on complex electronic and mechanical components and systems

• Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards to ensure the highest level of product quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the assembly and testing process
• Work with engineers and other technicians to continuously improve assembly and testing processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of assembly and testing activities

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

US Citizen Requirements

Due to compliance with US export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

• 3+ years of experience in assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical components and systems
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in assembly and testing processes
• Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

•Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

• Experience with complex electronic and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing ethics
• Strong problem-solving and thoughtful skills
