Key Qualifications
- 2+ years experience developing system software such as drivers or frameworks
- Strong C/C++ and object-orientated programming skills
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience with profiling code in both kernel and userspace.
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with code you’ve never seen before, and understand the pertinent functionality
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Self directed, analytical, and work well in a team environment
- Comfortable working at both higher and lower levels of software
Education & Experience
BS or MS in CS/CE
Additional Requirements
- - Experience designing SW interfaces or APIs
- - Experience implementing customer-facing features is a plus
- - Familiarity with IOKit, Objective-C, and other iOS/OS X
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
