As a member of the GFICCO Risk team are trusted advisors to GFICCO functions and leadership by providing independent oversight and assessment of their risk environment. It is our role to strengthen the control environment, improve control culture & practices embedding a robust risk culture across the organisation. We aim to create open channels of communication with GFICCO teams to maintain trust and promote transparency in reporting root cause of issues and escalations.
Close interaction and engagement with GFICCO functional leadership to provide guidance on identified risk and control issues, escalation triage, formal capture of audit issues & operational events and development of associated remediation plans
Coordinate, oversee and manage input and engagement for regulatory exams, corporate audits and target risk assessments impacting GFICCO functions & processes and associated remediation of findings, including Matters Requiring Attention/Immediate Attention (MRA/MRIA)
Develop and maintain Single Process Inventory (SPI) framework, ensure adherence to process management standard requirements including metric performance oversight
Collaborate and debate with Audit, Compliance & Operational Risk partners on findings and emerging themes
Ensure compliance with critical deadlines for risk identification, escalation, and remediation
