Minimum Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of acoustic theory with a focus on electroacoustics, physical acoustics, and acoustic simulation
- Acoustic measurement, data acquisition, and data analysis skills
- A passion for audio and acoustics
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with multi-disciplinary team members
- Ability to travel internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field
- 5+ years of proven industry experience
- Practical knowledge of acoustic transducers and equivalent circuit modeling techniques in the context of headphone design
- Proficiency in high level programming (MATLAB or Python)
- Experience modeling acoustic systems with COMSOL Multiphysics
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $208,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
