This is an exciting Hardware Design engineer opportunity, that will involve designing elements that go into an iPhone hardware and see it through volume production. You will work with multi-functional teams to realize next generations of iPhone.The scope of work includes design, integration, and validation of rigid boards, printed flexible circuits, and overall system-level solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You will also be involved in NPI line bring up and debug manufacturing issues. There will be opportunities for international travel.
- BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals including analog and digital design principles, high speed design, signal integrity, power design, hardware bringup and debug
- Schematic Capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout expertise
- MS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on experience with hardware design and bringup is preferred (volume production experience is not a must)
- Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug hardware issues
- Strong desire and proactive attitude to dive deep into system level topics
- Exposure to solving unwanted coupling and interference between subsystems is a plus
- Use of scripting languages to assist with hardware development
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
