• Translates and influences strategic vision into a technical roadmap with clear software design and quality priorities, ensuring understanding and alignment across team
• Define, design, and develop detailed test plans for mobile and desktop clients
• Work well in a team environment, be highly self-motivated, and be willing to learn new skills and product features
• Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to understand potential future product needs, and proactively designs new solutions
• Exercise expert-level knowledge of multiple domains to deliver the most relevant and effective quality solutions
• Work collaboratively with other groups such as development, escalation, documentation, and marketing teams
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to other engineers
• Creation and continual enhancement of automated test suites using Python, Java, or similar languages
• Troubleshoot issues related to the en>re protocol stack
• Ensure the introduction of and implementation of the latest automated and exploratory tes>ng practices within the QA Engineering discipline
• Present tes>ng insights to executive leaders and key external stakeholders
• Proactively identifies opportunities to address design flaws and advocates for the adoption of innovative solutions
• Defines best practices for test implementation and strategy
• Writes and sets the standard for functional clean code
• Champions CI/CD approach across software development and quality, and constantly reassesses software design so that designs may address evolving user needs and flaws as they appear

• You are enthusiastic about finding defects and improving the quality of the product.
• Have a MSEE/CS combined with 8+ years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 12+ years or PhD + 5 years of related experience in Software assurance.
• Have a practical working knowledge of software testing methodology
• iOS and / or Android experience
• Desktop experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux
• You have superb communication skills
• Proficient with networking protocols and security
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Drives and implements new quality engineering tools, best practices, and automated frameworks within the wider organization
• Facilitates/encourages knowledge sharing in the team (e.g., brown bags, demos, design sessions etc..)

• Experience in testing VPN clients, firewalls, or other network security products
• Good experience and knowledge in TCP/IP and networking protocols
• Secure coding and encryption protocol experience
• Experience with performance, regression testing, and automation tools
• Candidate should have a solid understanding of security concepts such as SSL, Digital Certificates, code signing, etc.
• Agile development process experience
• Anticipate performance, security, and scale issues, and advocate for changes to architectural design
• Perform risk assessments on testing decisions and identify ways to mitigate risk across different products
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of multiple domains to achieve the desired outcome
• Write functional clean code and unit tests at a level that sets the standard for coding across teams
• Influence architectural decisions with a focus on security, scalability and reliability
• Contribute to threat modeling of a product
• Design and innovate software quality assurance strategy and best practices across various levels and environments through communication with development teams and external stakeholders, leveraging software testing insight
