This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Key job responsibilities
• Design and architect complex, enterprise-scale VDI solutions using AWS services
• Lead technical discussions with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead proof of concept (PoC) projects for innovative VDI solutions
• Mentor junior solution architects and provide technical leadership for VDI across multiple teams
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy EUC and VDI strategies
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.About the team

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

- 5+ years of technology/software sales experience
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
