Job Description:
The Software Engineer Front-End (User Interface) is responsiblefor the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Working with Agile stories using the Angular framework, which involves developing new features or fixing bugs using Angular components, services, and APIs.
Collaboration with UX designers is crucial to ensure the UI aligns with design specifications, enhancing the user experience.
Testing and debugging code to ensure it functions correctly which might involve interacting with the back-end developers.
Deploying code to various staging or production environments and working with the Product Owner to demonstrate progress. This blend of coding, collaboration, and continuous learning ensures that the developer can contribute effectively to building robust and user-friendly applications.
Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate withengineers/architects,clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing.
Supports applications and solves configuration and environment issues. Supports the software deployment process.
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of related experience
Requires experience in AngularJS, User Interface, Typescript, JavaScript, UX Design, Unit/Integration Testing, Agile.
Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) at the listed location. No relocation assistance is provided.
Our Senior Software Engineering, earns between $105,600.00-$158,400.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
