Your Impact
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to engage with key decision-makers in both technical and business conversations.
What you will do:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in public sector and enterprise accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth by positioning Cisco’s security solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Work closely with CISOs, IT leaders, and procurement teams to understand security challenges.
  • Articulate the value of Cisco’s security portfolio, including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and Secure Cloud solutions.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and business cases to customers.
  • Engage and enable Cisco’s partner ecosystem to drive joint success.
  • Support partners in identifying and closing cybersecurity opportunities.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive offerings.
  • Leverage market insights to differentiate Cisco’s solutions and refine sales strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in cybersecurity sales or technology sales with a focus on security solutions.
  • Strong ability to engage with customers, build relationships, and drive sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including key technologies, trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Experience working with public sector or enterprise customers (highly regarded).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners and internal teams.
