You will work closely with Hardware Design Engineers across Cisco. Early sensing and engagement with Hardware Engineering to understand their product roadmap. This individual will lead and orchestrate the roadmap reviews between Engineering and Suppliers, find solutions, build proposals, and implement to meet Business requirements, striking balance between supply continuity, cost, and delivery.
Your Impact
- Investigating and sourcing next generation Mixed Signal and Timing technology
- Aligning and influencing engineering on roadmap and strategy
- Aligning and collaborate with supplier commodity managers, production operations, component engineers, product design engineers across the organization
- Collaborate with the supply chain central operations on process and tool management
- Providing technical expertise, special knowledge, and market trends to engineering
- Drive value engineering through ideation and execution
You are analytical, have excellent communication skills, and are adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to sophisticated situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Business or Engineering
- Knowledge of Networking/Communication technology, Mixed Signal and Timing Technology, power, development process, marketplace
- Five plus years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with technology/component risk rating and mitigation plan
- Semiconductor component quality requirements and management
- Marketing and sales experience in Semiconductor Industry
- Expertise in supply chain operations.
- Experience in Standard (IEEE/ITU etc.) bodies
- Processor and Multimedia technology and Architecture understanding
- Software technology and business understanding
