Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, a related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with transducers, sensors, electrical circuits, signal processing and data acquisition systems used to measure acceleration, temperature, pressure, force, flow, strain, and other phenomena found in an engineering lab environment.
Experience in programming and CAD - may include LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, C++, Solidworks or other modeling packages.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in a hardware R&D lab environment or industry experience in electrical/mechanical component/system testing in a laboratory environment.
Experience with failure analysis techniques.
Experience with reliability testing methods and best practices, including environmental chamber - programming and operation, mechanical testing, and electrical testing of consumer electronics.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
