This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working for a global systems integrator, a large IT consulting firm, or a Fortune 1000 company. In this role, you will develop the technical capabilities of our Global Strategic Partners (GSPs) so they can be successful in the cloud. Working with these large partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should possess both a technical background that enables you to engage at the VP/CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables you to easily interact with customers and account management/field reps/pre-sales architects. You should be just as comfortable talking modernization, Data & Generative AI, and migrations with partner executives, continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. If you are a problem solver with a broad technical-skills, and have the ability to drive technical initiatives and cloud migration & modernization projects with the GSPs, you will enjoy this role.In this technical role, you will own the technical relationship and deliverables for a GSP, architect enterprise-grade AWS solutions, act as a trusted customer advisor to partner executives, lead white boarding sessions, author white papers and blog posts, develop and execute multi-day workshops, and respond to complex technical inquiries. As a Partner Solution Architect focused on Global Strategic Partners (GSPs), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and drive broad adoption of the AWS platform across the partner community.Key job responsibilities

Own the technical relationship and deliverables for one or more Global Strategic Partners (GSPs)
Drive development of repeatable assets, solutions, products, and accelerators
Help manage and drive joint Strategic Deals between the partner and AWSA day in the life

- 12 or more years of related experience
- Technology Breadth: Experience with the AWS cloud, demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
- Technology Depth: Demonstrate detailed knowledge of concepts, implementation, patterns, and issues of at least four technology areas like Application migrations, Modernization, DevOps, containers / serverless / cloud-native development and design, IoT, Data Analytics, ML and Generative AI, Databases, Networking, Security
- Experience in writing technical content and strong communication skills, along with experience in a technical role within a sales organization
