As a member of the global IT team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming PSG to operate as a standalone business. As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to information systems within the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead project execution, monitor progress against plan, identify and manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Allocate and coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure project tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that deliverables meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field +5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing information systems projects.
  • Advanced English level
  • Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • High tech industry experience.
