This job requires excellent communication skills needed to negotiate internally & externally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.

An excellent working knowledge of the Global Data privacy and security laws like GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy Regulation, etc. is required.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with partners to lead in establishing, managing and implementing tools for policy adoption plans, compliance metrics, communications and training.

Lead product discovery through collection, build vs buy analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements, to understand requirements and aligning these to Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls standards to drive appropriate solutions.

Appropriately prioritize requirements, build and maintain a strong backlog with KPIs/ KPIs and a clear definition of completion.

Actively participate in Backlog Grooming, UAT execution, Demo sessions, and agile ceremonies.

Capture requirements, develop detailed delivery roadmaps and manage the entire lifecycle of metrics and report production.

Overall ownership of the Third-Party vendor implementations with Citi, monitor ongoing product performance, including responsibility of the annual due diligence tasks.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred ina Data Governance/ Data Product Management/ Engineering or related area.

10+ years of experience working with SaFe Agile working methodology.

Proven expertise in leading large discussions with Senior Leadership.

Proven expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.

Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.

Strong negotiation, problem-solving, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels.

Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.

Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.

Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance & Security laws within large, financial services firms.

degree, Masters’ degree preferred.
