Job Overview

The product engineering role will have responsibilities to plan and execute on new product development deliverables and ongoing product support tasks. Fulfilling these responsibilities will involve early engagement on DFT and execution strategies, characterization of product performance across bench and ATE measurement sources, reliability testing, ATE test stability and coverage evaluations, manufacturability assessment (fab, assembly, test, yields), production test release to manufacturing, yield and test time optimization, RMA (customer returns) material evaluation to root cause and corrective action, and enhancing new product development methodology. Will collaborate in a cross functional team environment and contribute in the areas of technical assessment, problem solutions, engineering disciplines, team leadership, and execution to achieve results.

Needed for this Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

  • Circuit and semiconductor device fundamentals.

  • RF, digital, and mixed signal product characterization experience.

  • Project/team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in RF transceiver system architecture and component characterization.

  • Experience in data analysis tools such as DataPower and Spotfire.

  • Basic understanding of statistics, Gage R&R, Six-sigma process.

  • Skills in scripting language programming such as Python and Perl.

  • ATE test solution development experience.

  • Hands-on experience on lab equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meter, curve tracer, signal generator, etc.

  • Hardware PCB design experience.

  • Understanding of reliability testing including ESD, HTOL, and debugging.

  • Semiconductor process and package experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
