Facilitates traditional and non-traditional production and material distribution activities.
Directly supervises associates and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Assures associates are trained and assigned to perform necessary operations including conformance to specifications.
Coordinates production and inspection schedules and documenting changes to meet priorities, arranging disposition of material.
Assures individual and/or team performance is evaluated in support of team and plant goals.
Areas that supervisors could work in include electronic or mechanical assembly, machining, tool fabrication, packaging, shipping, receiving, storage and transportation of materials and equipment.
Assures compliance to and encourages associate involvement in ES&H activities, security policies, good housekeeping, cost effectiveness, company policies, and the collective bargaining agreement.
May ensure departmental compliance with internal procedures and the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, Internal Civil Aviation Organization, Department of Energy, Internal Air Transportation Associates, General Services Administration, and Motor Carrier Safety Act in handling and shipment of hazardous materials.
Evaluates requirements for staffing, equipment, and facilities within the areas of responsibility; implements Quality Policies.
Promotes and supports continuous improvement. in the areas of manufacturing and inspection process methods and recommends improvements.
Follows Honeywell policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
Performs other responsibilities as needed.
Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment.Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified.Every associate has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.
You Must Have
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or Associate's degree and 3 years of related experience, or HS diploma/certification and 4 years of related experience
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

May additional certification and/or experience for certain manufacturing departments.
