Key Responsibilities:
Customer Education & Case Support:
- Demonstrates a deep knowledge of the products and therapies of their responsibility, including technical specifications, features, cost efficiency, clinical performance and troubleshooting
- Provides technical support to customers during a procedure in the Catheterization Laboratories (Cath Labs).
- Assists on increasing the efficiency on Cath Lab Inventory Management (consignment, communication of missing stock, minimize expiring stock)
- Gathers and follows-up on Cath Lab staff product related requests, liaises with peers and provides feedback on timely manner.
- Capable of building strong and trusted business relationships with Hospital Staff and supporting them before, during, and after the cases. Always operates based on Boston Scientific’s ethics and SOPs.
- Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpret, present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations.
- Provides day-to-day field clinical (technical) support and education, Account management, coordination, and collection of training needs.
- Provide training to existing and new partners on product portfolio and new products with technical and clinical data.
- Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
- Collects educational needs
- Educates physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on (not limited to) Modern PCI Products by coordinating training sessions, Hands-on trainings, in-service education programs, seminars, and/or assigning the identified HCPs to either Boston Scientific or 3rd party educational activities in collaboration with the relevant functions in the organization.
- KOLs segmentation and engagement on educational activities based on divisional / regional need
- Utilization of provided tools for streamlined field activities
- eCare / EDUCARE platforms
- Extensive usage of available remote support tools to increase productivity
- Reports complaint reports on timely manner as indicated by Boston Scientific`s policy
Commercial and Marketing Contributions:
For the region of responsibility and according to Divisional strategies:
- Market analysis
- Collects, analyzes, and keeps records related to market size and potential, market/product trends
- Excels on competitive intelligence and prepares actions to block competition from accessing the market and / or increase their market share
- Preparation of quarterly and annual activity reviews and market analyses
- Product / Therapy launches
- Assists on creating launch plans for therapies and products
- Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
- Commercial Co-Leadership
- Gathers business opportunities and discuss them with peers operating in the same geography
- Operates with a portfolio pull-through mindset
- Assists on preparation and attends/presents on Divisional Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
- Assists on tender specifications for the portfolio of responsibility
- Utilization of provided tools for streamlined field activities
- Sales Funnel Support tools
- Extensive usage of available remote support tools to increase productivity
Skills & Background Requirements (must-have)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree required (biomedical engineering)
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Cardiology in Industry (Sales Representative, Clinical support, other)
- Clinical sales skills, solutions-oriented thinking, and proactive behavior
- Able to work in a matrix environment, independently and as part of a team
- Efficient communication and presentation skills
- Stress resistant
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel extensively (60-80%)
