Job Description

The Analyst will work directly with both internal and external clients as well as third-party customers to obtain requirements necessary for support of the Transfer Agents Products and Services. The Analyst will act as a liaison and will be the primary contact responsible for gathering requirements, coordinating the project plan meetings, engaging the appropriate parties, confirming the results and lead training for other co-workers and peers. The Analyst will lead the primary functions associated with File Transmissions, Sysload, Refresher Files, Mainframe Applications and as well as any System and Application Maintenances. Additionally, the Analyst will work closely with internal business lines to ensure that the products and applications they oversee comply to the needs of our clients, customers, and TA business lines.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of direct experience (with project lead responsibilities), or eight or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Undergraduate degree or business-related field
  • Knowledge of the assigned business function and technical skills in addition to excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of mutual fund industry
  • Highly motivated with ability to think outside of normal protocol
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with organizational and customer support skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to problem solve
  • Proficient in managing projects and performing system analysis
  • Ability to support multiple tasks in a dynamic working environment with minimal supervision
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Mutual Funds Operations
  • Advanced knowledge of all GFS functions as well as a detailed understanding of TA Operations
  • High degree of critical thinking skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to grasp details and relate them to larger concepts
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent PC, written, communication and time management skills
  • Proficient with Macros and Visual Basic programming

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00 - $98,120.00
