In this role, you will participate in the ML development lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to bring innovative AI technologies into reality. You'll help design and implement ML models, work with ML tooling and infrastructure, support evaluation efforts, and implement model inference solutions. The team values rapid iteration, based on bringing models into reality so stakeholders can understand cutting-edge technology and research. You'll collaborate with hardware, software, and design teams across Apple, helping to implement engineering solutions ready for product development.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field; or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with machine learning through hands-on work in product development, prototyping, or research environments
  • Strong programming skills with experience in machine learning development
  • Understanding of transformer-based models
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to team members
  • Experience with prototyping in ML/AI contexts
  • Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and multi-modal foundation models
  • Experience with pre-training, fine-tuning, or performance optimization
  • Familiarity with AI systems capable of reasoning and task execution
  • Creativity and curiosity about applying AI capabilities to product experiences
  • Ability to implement research innovations into practical applications
  • Good collaborative skills and effective communication
