As a Senior Manager, Marketing, Vice President / Executive Director within our Asset Management marketing team, you will work closely with local distribution and regional marketing teams to build awareness and grow our business in Japan. You will manage the development and execution of marketing strategies focused on the intermediary channel while establishing brand recognition amongst end investors. This role provides an opportunity to leverage digital and data to guide and enhance the marketing strategy, and to demonstrate your strong vision, creativity, and solid marketing experience within a financial institution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing strategy to establish strong brand presence, promote thought leadership and product capabilities, and drive business growth
  • Set clear goals and define success metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness against plans to drive stronger business and marketing impact.
  • Develop and execute marketing plan to achieve business objectives. Activities include :
    • Marketing campaign development and execution
    • Promote our intellectual capitals including our thought leadership, investment capabilities and product solutions
    • Digital marketing including website optimization, online advertising, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO)
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis along evaluation to understand client insights and identify areas of improvement
  • Establish processes and practices to strengthen governance for all marketing activities and manage/mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with different teams within Marketing, Business and other functions to integrate global/regional objectives with local priorities, and serve as a major point of accountability for a diverse range of global/regional project delivery
  • Comply with all internal and external requirements to ensure the business is in line with changing regulations and evolving guidelines
  • Drive projects and perform duties as and when required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Native marketer with solid experience across marketing disciplines
  • Good understanding of the investment / mutual funds / exchange traded fund (ETF) industry
  • Proven skills in harnessing digital and data to drive business and marketing objectives
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically while strong in execution and dealing with details
  • Appreciation for the global organization and the regional synergy; Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses
  • Experience in driving changes for business growth
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; Responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Strong in leadership; Flexible in approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands
  • Has a high level of self-motivation, with strong integrity and ethics
