JOB DESCRIPTION
As an HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental responsibility within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability. You will report directly to our HSE Manager and work out of our Tijuana, IA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact our business by ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.

• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement engineering solutions and preventive measures.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.

• Manage the HSE budget, including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.

• Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.

• Establish and enforce stringent quality control standards in HSE engineering, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.

• Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.

YOU MUST HAVE
• English communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental or similar discipline
•+2 years of experience in similar role
