Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience building ML models for different use cases (e.g., tabular data, images, video, speech, unstructured text), and building production ML models with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, JAX, Spark ML, or Scikit Learn.
2 years of experience coding in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or Python.
Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g. Google Cloud or similar).
Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative field, including ML related work.
Experience working in a fast-moving technology area, while being comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Experience conducting data and ML technical training or in client-facing technical consulting role.
Experience taking on new materials and successfully delivering them to clients/students, with a passion for learning and continued self-development.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT, and reporting/analytic tools and environments (e.g., Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
