• Leads a large team of supervisors and operators in a 24/7 operation.
• Implements organizational change that drives improvement of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Determines vision for owned departments to drive operational excellence
• Supports day to day operations, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Willingness to be on-call nights and weekends to escalate and resolve issues.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of leadership or management experience in a manufacturing setting in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• [Master's] degree in [Business, Engineering, Logistics, or other Technical]
• [Five] years of [leadership or management experience in a manufacturing setting] in a private, public, government or military environment
• Skills of high value are written, and communication skills
• Ability to create a vision, communicate the vision and execute
