Key job responsibilities
• Working closely with our product and field teams and 3rd party model providers, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure
• Design best in class storage infrastructure solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.
• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.
• You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.
• Thought Leadership - Evangelize and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts.

* Previous experience in designing/building/maintaining Storage environments
* The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess significant experience of software development and/or IT and storage and networking implementation including security and compliance
* Advisory/consulting experience, including some experience with global accounts and large commercial customers.
* Business fluent English and French
* Proven experience with IT network architectures, including layers and protocols (Ethernet, BGP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VPN, VLAN...)

* Professional experience architecting/operating cloud solutions
* Understanding of AWS Storage Services such as S3, Glacier, Elastic File System (EFS), AWS Storage Gateway (SGW), and Snowball. Use of AWS in production a plus.
* Understands the role that networking plays in complex storage architectures
* Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
* The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
