As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating and test new product features according to business and functional requirements while identifying potential risks
• Working closely with developers to create comprehensive test plans to meet product requirments
• Automating tests for major releases or within Agile sprints for Akamai products
• Participating in design and code reviews, software maintenance releases, and documentation of test cases and results
• Developing new approaches to solve problems identified during Quality Engineering activities

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software test automation experience using Python
• Experience in manual and automated testing RESTful Web Services and HTTP proxies, Protocols.
• Have familiarity with command in testing using different QA Methodologies (black-box, white-box and gray-box)
• Experience in identifying and formulating test cases for both web UIs and backends
• Have good command of Selenium WebDriver and TestNG, including Page Object design patterns and Selenium Grid configurations
