Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and direction on the daily activities of the Virtual Sales team. Manage all aspects of the Virtual Sales team drive to achieve incentive objectives.
- Establish, support, and lead a positive, diverse, high performing and inclusive team culture.
- Design, implement and maintain procedures for customer targeting, sales process, follow up work and closing business, including new customer segments and customers who purchase products used in Urology.
- Maximize employee satisfaction and retention.
- Manage team of Virtual Sales Reps including recruiting, hiring, performance management, talent development, career progression, etc.
- Drive the desired results to achieve a competitive advantage through on-going evaluation of performance and processes.
- Monitor and drive excellence in customer service, utilize observations, analysis, and trending to identify organizational areas of opportunity and efficiencies.
- Continually evaluate, improve, and implement changes to assure customer-centric departmental focus.
- Deal with escalated customer queries, complaints, and provide a high level of customer satisfaction as measured through customer metrics.
- Manage customer escalation, internal escalation meetings, and reporting.
- Provide personal development plans and performance reviews on a timely basis.
- Interface with; external customers, sales, marketing, and other internal functions.
- Foster close working relationships between the traditional field sales teams and the virtual sales organization. Accelerate effectiveness of territory planning.
- Seek opportunities to drive disposable and capital purchases, upgrades, and service as appropriate.
- Lead strategic projects or initiatives within the traditional sales, virtual sales, or sales operations functions.
- Work closely with Virtual Sales COE to ensure digital infrastructure in place to meet the team’s needs across data, process, and engagement platforms.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 2 years leadership or supervisory experience
- Direct Virtual Sales or Sales experience
- Detail Oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, iPad, apps, etc.)
