What you’ll do:
- Being a lead facilitator to deliver critical Risk Governance & uplift the risk profile throughout the Organisation and its products.
- Consistently challenge the status quo to drive process re-engineering, standardization, and prioritization along with the Senior Control Officers & other business stakeholders
- Drive the creation, implementation & adherence to Risk Governance Frameworks, and other Enterprise-wide frameworks and standards
- Develop and suggest operating model changes to pivot the Markets Operations organization towards digitization
- A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels
- Strong risk management and control mindset
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated
- Data Management and Analytics skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Operational Risk, Compliance or Governance, with commensurate stakeholder management experience
- Experience delivering Control & Governance Frameworks in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk, or technology organization
- Ability to enhance the consistency of reporting to business risk committees, ensuring the governance framework is robust & efficient
- Proactive and organized in the identification and tracking of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation processes and timelines are followed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree OR equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
