Your key responsibilities
- Provide regular reporting of EY GDS carbon footprint metrics, working with multiple stakeholders across our eight countries. Strong ability to collect, interpret and present data/analytics is required.
- Monitor and drive timely completion of data entry – carried out by respective EY GDS country points of contact - into EY Global carbon emission data capture tool.
- Support preparation of non-financial related disclosures, specifically related to Sustainability to comply with regulatory requirements in certain EY GDS geographies e.g. TCFD and CSRD
- Carry out regular analysis of current or upcoming Sustainability reporting regulations in each of the eight countries EY GDS has presence in to accelerate reporting readiness.
- Support the planning, execution and monitoring of key EY GDS Operational Sustainability projects.
- Support preparation of materials for internal and external meetings, e.g., monthly environmental status updates for each of our eight EY GDS locations.
- Consolidate EY GDS certification documentation e.g., Renewable Energy Certificates, across all of our eight locations in a central repository and ensure these are regularly updated.
- Regularly update the EY GDS Operational Sustainability site, the main interface with our 70,000 GDS people, which highlights our progress vs our environmental targets and impact stories.
- Effectively collaborate with several EY GDS Operations Functions who directly provide input and feedback into our sustainability agenda and metrics. E.g., Real Estate, Travel, Facilities and Procurement
- Have a good understanding of leading practice, market insights and emerging trends in sustainability to make contributions to EY GDS carbon ambition.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5- 7 years’ experience in carbon emissions management/reporting
- Experience supporting corporate environmental improvement programs (preferred)
- Experience collaborating with third-party organizations
- Experience engaging, influencing and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience as part of diverse and virtual high-performance teams.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong project management skills
- Environmental related degree (preferred)
- Experience in meeting net-zero carbon emission targets within an organization (preferred)
