Description
Our goal is to help define exciting product features that will touch our customers. Therefore you’ll have the ability to solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, directing layout and bringing up/ debugging circuits in the lab. You will have access to state of the art test equipment in labs to perform characterization of your circuits. You will also be able to define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of your designs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering plus 3 years of equivalent practical experience
- Hands on experience in prototyping, hardware bring-up and bench measurements
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power (DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, audio/camera/display/ wireless integration and measurement, sensor design and integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals including analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc
- Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB physical design and common electrical interfaces: PCIe, USB, Display Port, MIPI and I2C/SPI/UART buses
- Experience designing consumer electronics and/or embedded systems
- Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams.
- Statistical data analysis and visualization (ex. JMP) is a plus
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
