• Develop and execute exploratory, manual, and automated tests to ensure product quality.
• Analyze product specs, decompose complicated software systems, and design strategies to test these systems.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Work as an Agile team member participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning and task estimation.
• Provide metrics upon execution of smoke and regression suites to establish baselines and track quality and efficiency improvements over time.
• Communicate software testing and automation best practices with team, including new and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with internal and external teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Understanding of software testing and optimization methodologies, including executing performance and regression testing and building test plans and cases.

Primary Expertise:

• Experience in implementing large automation projects, documenting workflow and processes, reliable monitoring implementations, optimizing script performance, and delivering high quality, consistent results.
• 6 years of manual testing, test automation, bug tracking and quality management.
• 6 years of successful usage of testing tools, agile and sprint-based projects, with an emphasis on quality.
• Experience with CI/CD, SQL, Python, Java (for automation), API Automation and tools like Jmeter(Performance), Jira, Confluence

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or Equivalent (BE/BTech/MS/MTech/MCA)

• Understanding various software development lifecycle
• Demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high quality software
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
