DESCRIPTION

As a Senior SDE on this team, you’ll play a key role in designing and building innovative frontend features and intuitive UIs for Amazon OpenSearch Service. You’ll bring strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and React, along with solid experience in observability and log analytics. Familiarity with AWS tools like CloudWatch and OpenSearch Dashboards is a strong plus.Responsibilities:- Lead the development of front-end features for a modern, unified analytics experience
Qualifications:- Proven experience in building and maintaining complex front-end applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and React
- Strong domain knowledge in observability, log analytics, and operational data monitoring
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch and OpenSearch Dashboards is a plus

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
