Duties: Gather and analyze computer system requirements, procedures, and problems to automate/improve existing system. Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals. Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Analyze, design, develop, and test computer system applications through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC). Utilize knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Prepare, standardize, and review computer software requirements specification document, technical, and system design documents. Write technical documentation, specifications, and proposals. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing software development life cycle processes (SDLC) to analyze, design, and develop application using Java technologies, JMS, Webservices, and Spring; Performing technical analysis, tuning, risk, and gap analysis, and preparing effort estimation activities; Utilizing Unix shell script programming for various utility task on Unix based servers; Utilizing Oracle Structured Query language (SQL) and PL/SQL language to exact report for analysis from Oracle database management software; Designing test plan and writing unit test cases; and Maintaining code repositories and supporting application version control using tools such as SVN/Git.
