Responsible for NPI deliverables atelectrical/electro-mechanicalsub-system/component level, from concept design to volume production release.
Key participant in the design and development process; Propose new ideas and improvements, determine and review requirements, and drives crucial program decisions. Experiencing, contributing to, and owning components in the critical PLC process.
Build, align, and test electrical and electro-mechanical, assemblies for design validation and assembly procedure development.
Generate and release the product Bill of Material (BOM) and work with technical writers to provide valuable input to generate assembly, integration, and test procedures.
Drive the development of the alignment/test tooling and packaging that are required to build and ship assemblies from our vendors to our manufacturing facility and the field.
Work with design engineers to manage and coordinate prototype material.
Support the field service team by coordinating the assembly, testing, shipment, and release of spare parts and field replaceable assemblies.
Create, review, and submit engineering change orders (ECOs) to resolve design issues and improvemanufacturability/serviceability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with new designs and prototypes through assembly, testing, and system integration in a cleanroom environment.
Collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to resolve critical problems and implement continuous improvement projects (CIPs) to achieve cycle time, cost, and yield targets.
Possess strong communication skills and make decisions based on data.
Motivated self-starter who is fast-learning, capable of working independently, and can effectively coordinate with a globally distributed team.
