Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years leadership and management experience in a production, mission-critical, 24x7 operations environment.
- 10+ years' experience managing large vendor multi-year contracts and operating entities.
- 10+ years' experience leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees, across multiple disciplines and platforms.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to successfully influence across a highly matrixed set of stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Experience successfully managing high volume technical service delivery across a distributed portfolio.
- Strong working knowledge of physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling, etc.).
- Knowledge of critical environment concepts and infrastructure (e.g., Electrical Distribution, Mechanical Cooling Systems, etc.).
- A solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Awareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.). - Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, etc.).
