The position
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Python Data Engineer to join our dynamic Objects Modeling team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data analytics and machine learning initiatives relying on an in-depth knowledge of the algorithm that enables autonomous driving application at different levels. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure that data is clean, reliable, and available for analysis and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to collect and process data from different sources.
- Support the integration of data from multiple sources for comprehensive analytics.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and algorithm developers to understand their data needs and provide reliable data solutions. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data solutions into applications and services.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into data operations and health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Understanding of SQL and building queries for extracting data.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data pipeline issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Experience in Python programming, including experience with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with AWS platforms such as S3, Athena (Bonus).
- Experience with machine learning pipelines.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., dash python).
