- Bachelor's degree in a management, technical, or engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in corporate strategy/development, product strategy, strategy consulting, investing, market and user research, or product management, supporting consumer technology organizations to develop an organizational road map
- Experience developing investment theses, including via M&A or net-new zero-to-one product bets that are in the process of being incubated or launched
- Experience leading a team to deliver insights and facilitate decision making
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field
- Outstanding executive synthesis and communication skills; ability to distill diverse data points into actionable insights and recommendations, and to quickly separate signal from noise
- Excellent business acumen and product intuition, with the ability to form and refine hypotheses in a product context and judgment
- Analytical and quantitative, with the ability to constructively engage with analysts, Data Science and Engineering, and UXR partners to frame and interpret sophisticated analyses
- Distinctive problem solving and strategy skills, including expansive opportunity identification, data-driven segmentation, and framing of complex/ambiguous problems
