The QUEST practice has three service lines: economic policy analysis, statistical sampling and data analytics, and surveys. As a sampling Senior Manager, you will provide quantitative services in QUEST’s statistical sampling and data analytics service line.
Your key responsibilities
- Identify client opportunities and craft client proposals
- Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
- Perform statistical sampling, estimation, modeling, and data analytics
- Analyze client data to develop efficient sample designs using design-based and model-based methods
- Work directly with internal project teams and the client to devise the best quantitative approach
- Oversee sample design and estimation work and provide technical guidance to project staff
Skills and attributes for success
- Work on key client issues involving policy and regulatory issues, with a focus on enhancing client strategies that align with the client's business objectives through quantitative analysis
- Develop tools to evaluate economic and fiscal implications of proposed policies and apply econometric methodologies to measure compliance with existing regulations
- Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of policy issues
- Design and implement quantitative and analytical software applications
- Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients’ tax activities
- Supervising a motivated team of professionals, guaranteeing they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential
To qualify for the role you must have
- Master's or Ph.D. in statistics or other quantitative discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of related work experience
- Interest and ability to apply quantitative methods in a business environment
- A commitment to teamwork and the ability to direct the work of other team members
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment and effectively meet deadlines
- Computer skills, including familiarity with statistical programming and database management
- Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment
Ideally, you’ll also have

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $158,600 to $362,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $190,300 to $411,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
