Working with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Managed Services Operations, and 3rd party service providers, you will provide a complete view of the managed service portfolio of deployed assets by contract from lifecycle planning, to purchase, consumption/installation/replacement assets, and financial treatment of the expenses.
Your role:
Create an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales & Operating Plan (S&OP) for the Managed Service product portfolio. Include all assumptions, identify variables and risks, and pinpoint potential favorable adjustments for the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement.
Conduct a monthly financial forecast review of the Managed Service portfolio to identify any unfavorable variances. Forecast the remainder of the fiscal year and develop strategies to mitigate any unfavorable outcomes.
Proactively identify financial risks to the Managed Services Portfolio and develop mitigation plans. Collaborate with the Managed Services Operations and Customer Engagement team to ensure performance aligns with contractual obligations.
Compare actual monthly revenue and expenses against the AOP, run rates, and forecast. Identify all variances and work with operations to mitigate unfavorable ones, and with finance to confirm if favorable variances are real and sustainable.
Coordinate with CMDB (Configuration Management Database), Operations, and Sales Operations teams to manage a comprehensive asset register at the contract level. Create a quarterly 18-month rolling horizon of asset aging, contract expirations, new product introductions, and EOL (End of Life) impacts; develop strategic plans to optimize hardware asset spend through acquisition price optimization, lifecycle cost management, and potential redeployment strategies.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 13+ years of experience in managing projects simultaneously and complex operations with a strong background in financial and operations analysis and planning. Experience with SAP, ServiceNow, and financial planning systems is desired.
Your skills include demonstrated leadership and influencing others, in-depth knowledge of complex system sales and operations, financial and accounting acumen.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, or business, or a related field. Certification with Project Management Institute: Project Management Professional desired.
You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues and develop innovative solutions.
