About the role
The role will be focused on the Access Solution operation, leading, and coordinating all aspects to the organization of sustaining engineering, including multiple product lines, technologies, and items related to maintenance and calibrations of equipment directly related to site’s productive function.
Your responsibilities include:
- Work jointly with other Managers to establish priorities and resource and time allocation plans for executing key initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and the sustainability of the productive functionality.
- Lead Process Engineering staff; provide direction, resources, and training for the proper development of the function of Engineer. Encourage the development of the personnel under his/her supervision, as well as facilitating an environment of respect, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Prioritize and manage the execution of multiple area projects. Organizes inter-disciplinary tasks for identifying and solving improvement opportunities in Production and Engineering.
- Facilitate and/or lead VIP, Kaizen, and Six Sigma Projects. Maintain and improve inter-departmental relations.
- Assure support to production initiatives of the Site.
- Establish and monitor the area budget. Engage in business results reviews.
- Facilitate and/or co-lead transfer processes of processes, equipment, and products.
- Manage company resources for Maintenance & Calibration Management to be effective.
- Define policies and objectives on the Maintenance strategy.
- Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
- Embrace change and leads the team to adapt to deliver through change.
- Educate and promote world class practices.
- Encourage the development of new technology within processes.
- Support EHS management.
Required Qualifications:
- Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Biomedical, Chemistry, Industrial Electrical, Industrial Mantenance.
- English Level desired: C1+ 90-99%.
- Desired knowledge: Minitab, Hands & Statistics, Validation Process, Costs reduction, Budget,Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience with progressive managerial responsibilities within operations.
