About The Role
is looking for an experienced and proactive
Technology Procurement Team Leaderto lead and grow a team overseeing all aspects of technology-related procurement. This includes SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, software, licenses, hardware, and more. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supplier performance, and cost efficiency across multiple functions such as R&D, IT, and Business Applications.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement, managing the end-to-end procurement cycle across diverse technology categories.
- Oversee and negotiate high-value contracts, ensuring optimal commercial and operational outcomes.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Manage the full purchasing lifecycle—from requisition to order generation, goods receipt, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Legal, Finance, IT, and Business teams to:
- Define business needs and technical requirements
- Refine specifications and scopes of work
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and category plans
- Build strong, proactive relationships with business units to forecast demand and ensure procurement decisions align with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze procurement data (e.g., spend, savings, vendor metrics) to drive insights and strategic planning.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through market trend analysis and supplier management best practices.
- Drive global procurement process efficiency and enhance supplier partnerships.
Your Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of experience in technology procurement, including at least 3 years in a global/international company.
- 4+ years of experience in team leadership or managerial roles.
- Deep understanding of sourcing, contracting, and vendor management within tech procurement.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a significant advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
